Primark Eye Shadow Palette.

The other day I went shopping. I popped into Primark and see they had a vamped up their beauty section, so I had a quick look.

What grabbed my attention was an eye shadow palette.
Okay.. I admit the packaging is a little bit cheap and not to everyones taste but you slowly get used to it because of the product and colours that are inside. Also what would you expect... it's not going to be the most special packaging for Primark.

Inside there are the most beautiful colours and a MASSIVE mirror, brilliant for on the go. The colours are quite soft and not to 'in your face'. At first I was most scared on the bright purple but I watched a Perrie Edwards inspired make up tutorial and I saw how I could use that colour naturally. The purple is probably one of the best colours in the palette. This palette cost me £2.50.. yes, you saw it right. That makes each eyeshadow 0.3 of a penny! AMAZING! The pigmentation on the eyeshadow is not the best but for £2.50 I wasn't expecting much. The pigmentation was actually better than I was expecting, you do have to press a little bit to get some colour but it's worth it for how amazing the colours look on the eyes.

As I said.. The purple colour is probably the best colour in the palette in my opinion. When put on the eyes, it looks a lot like Mac Stars N Rockets. Also the black is amazing for a smokey eye. The first colour is a dark brown with gold shimmers in it, second colour is a matte concrete colour and the last two colours are a beautiful purple with gold and pink shimmer in it and a matte black.

The other colours are a violet blue colour, an electric blue, a shimmery light brown and a black with gold and green shimmer.

For £2.50 this is an amazing palette, also the pigmentation is decent aswell.
I would also recommend to get this palette soon because I dont know when they are going to discontinue.

Mini Haul.

So.. I went shopping. I had some easter money to spend so I went and bought a few nice things. The shops I went in were.. Superdrug, Boots, Poundshop and H&M.

I bought a lovely mint green dress from h&m. I was looking for a summer dress because I have a few maxi dresses but I dont have a dress this length. I loved the mint green because I think it's a bold colour but not too bright, just very suttle. I love how it sinches in just below the bust and then flows out..it's a dress that makes you have a good figure and doesnt show your lumps or bumps ;-). I picked this up in the sale for only £3! Bargain!

Next I bought a black pleather belt with a gold bow on it from Poundland. I thought this would really compliment the dress because the dress is mint green so very suttle and then you'd have a strip of black which makes it look a bit more interesting. Also the gold bow detailing is so pretty and it makes it look more expensive than it actually is.

Also I bought my favourite dry shampoo which is Batiste Cherry. This dry shampoo makes my hair feel silky and non-greasy so when I can't be bothered to wash my hair, I just spray a little bit of this in the morning. Also it's quite cheap and it's brilliant! You can pick it up in any drugstore and also supermarkets.

There was a massive hype about the nose strips that draw out all of your spots. I heard people saying 'they're really good, amazing in fact!' and then there were bad reviews on them saying that 'they were really bad for you'. So I picked a pack up from Superdrug and I tried them out.. They. Are. Amazing. They just draw out all the rubbish in your nose and I won't lie.. it's kind of satisfying peeling it off. They're probably bad for you but they are amazing!

I bought the Sleek Lash Out masacra for ONE POUND! In the pound shop they had quite a few brands to check out and the Sleek masacra caught my eye. I would definatly recomend going to pound shops to see if you can get any good deals in there.

When I was shopping, I thought to myself.. 'Maybe I should update my nail polish collection'. So that's what I did. First of all for nail polish, I went to Boots. I picked up Essie~Mint Candy Apple(last on the right), for many people this was their favourite nail polish and I've heard youtubers and bloggers go on about this colour. It's a beautiful mint green and I think it will go with most outfits..especially the dress I bought. I went to the next row along and found Models Own, I got this gorgeous pastel yellow which is Banana Spilt(in the middle on the right). Not only is this a nice colour.. when it dries.. it smells of banana split/milkshake. YUM!

I went over to Superdrug and looked at the NYC stand. Automatically I saw the bright blue(last on the left) which is called Blue Sky. Also I picked up the the greeny blue colour(middle on the left) which is called Mint Macaroon.. I love it when a nail polish has a nice name. I haven't tried the NYC nail polishes yet.

I left the best till last.. oh my.. the most beautiful blush palette you ever did see. This is the sleek blush by 3 palette in the colour Lace. The colour on the left is a bright coral/orange. In the middle there is a beautiful dusty pink with gold specs in it(by far the most prettiest). And on the right there is a bright hot pink. I heard about this palette by a youtuber named Zoella and straight away I wanted to buy it. I've been wanting to buy some Sleek blushes because I've heard great things about them, actually I've heard great things about Sleek in general. I have a couple of their eyeshadow palettes in Au Natural and Storm and the pigmentation of their products are amazing! You'd get the same pigmentation as if you bought a high end blush. If you're looking for cheap yet brilliant pigmentated make-up I'd go to Sleek in Superdrug.
